Doug and Larissa McCalla met while working at The Spence Law Firm, LLC, in Jackson, Wyoming, one of the most sought-after Plaintiffs’ firms in the country. As a long-term partner there, Doug focused on litigation and Larissa specialized in research and writing and appellate work. They found that their individual fields complemented each other’s in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. Technology was changing the profession. This made them eager to cultivate their own practice, one that would effectively intersect their expertise with their respective interests. Larissa Ann McCalla
Larissa focuses on the various facets of legal research and writing that revolve around case development, motion practice, and appellate advocacy. Before co-founding the McCalla Legal Group, she anchored the appellate practice for the Spence Law Firm, LLC. Larissa has represented and advised clients for over 25 years and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits.
